James is Head of Land at Rivington Energy, responsible for the Group’s land acquisition and property interests across renewable energy and data centre developments. He has over ten years’ experience in real estate development spanning the renewable energy and residential sectors.
James began his career delivering residential developments at Bellway Homes before moving into the renewable energy sector, where he started acquiring gas peaking and solar PV sites for Suncredit. He has since originated and secured more than 1GW of consented solar PV, BESS and co-located renewable energy projects. He now leads real estate delivery across Rivington’s data centre portfolio, negotiating and structuring land transactions to support project delivery.
James holds a BSc (Hons) in Property Investment and Management (RICS).
