Richard is Chief Financial Officer at Rivington Energy, responsible for the Group’s governance, capital management, reporting and operational finance function. A Chartered Accountant with over 25 years of post-qualification experience, he has spent more than 15 years advising and working within the energy and energy transition sectors, supporting the development, financing and growth of infrastructure and renewable energy businesses.
Prior to joining Rivington in 2016, Richard specialised in transaction advisory, leading and supporting a wide range of strategic actions including trade sales, IPOs, , fundraising and business valuations. Earlier in his career, he spent 10 years with KPMG, advising energy clients across both traditional assurance engagements and complex corporate transactions, gaining extensive experience across the international energy sector.
